KOITA (Korean Industrial Technology Association)

The Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA), established in 1979 to support the foundation of corporate centers of R&d and to strengthen the development capacities of Korean companies, is the country’s preeminent institution helping the progression of advancement of industrial research and its development.

The strong systems KOITA has established among its 8,000 member organizations help the improvement of technological competitiveness and even financial development through innovation participation and information sharing.

KOITA performs activities of various types to help its members, for example, supporting the establishment and operation of corporate centers of R & D, planning R&d policies related to support, operating award programs to boost researchers confidence, organizing networking events to encourage technological participation among organizations, and executing various government-commissioned R&d support initiatives.
